Windy Spring Day

Taking a walk with Mom, Grandpa and Grandma is nice but a guy can get bored with nothing interesting to do.

What's this? Water? That means mud and slop! Dude, this is like, awesome!

Intervention! Mom comes running with her usual response to such shenanigans: Too dangerous!

Is there no one who understands a man's need for freedom to explore his environment?

TOO DANGEROUS!
HOW EMBARASSING

Hey Aner, we were all crazy-nutsy when it came to our kids' safety and made complete dopes of ourselves with our screaming and crying and lamentations when the kids venture too close to a fire hydrant or, heaven forbid, a slab of cement. I won't even discuss allowing them to get within 40 yards of spring melt-water. Even today, the thought of them getting within viewing distance of a goldenrod plant makes me howl like a werewolf getting stabbed with a wooden stake.

Hey Chucklehead,

Isn't it time for a new posting? Your grandson is a lot older than he was when you put these pics up.

Even though that day in April must have been absolutely wonderful, isn't it time you updated?? Hasn't Jesse had a couple of birthdays since you last wrote something??

If you can think of anything new for me to post, let me know. In the meantime I'm going to ignore this annoying blog of mine.
